Directions:
- each day students talk about different decimals, ranging from tenths to thousands
- they practice adding and subtracting with this decimal
- They practicing naming the decimal
- placing the decimal on a number line
- ordering decimals
- rounding decimals
- converting decimals to fractions
Matching Math

Materials:
- computer/tablet with access to http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/mathgames/decimals/DecimalModels.htm
Directions:
- students should go to http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/mathgames/decimals/DecimalModels.htm
- Then they can choose whether they wish to play relaxed or timed mode based on their level of comfort
- They have to match decimals to a representation of that decimal on a hundreds grid
- If they are right they get check and if they are wrong they get an X that quickly fades so they can try again
